Can BV symptoms show up the day after sex?

Can BV or does BV show up the day after sex? 4 months ago I had unprotected sex and the next day I had a horrible infection. I thought I had an std, can you get symptoms of an STD the day after sex? I took medication for BV and the infection went away. So do you think it was just BV? if it was an STD wouldnt i still have symptoms by now? please im so scared.

If you took antibiotics for the infection and it went away, then you're fine. That's proof that whatever you had was a bacterial infection, and was treated by the medicine. If the symptoms haven't returned you don't have anything to worry about.
